New Days Ahead

Oh how very neglected this poor blog is.
Between my photography blog and my frame a day I am blogged out.
But I need to come here more often, this one is for my babies.
I will post more.
So, here you have it, the new days....
all three of my babies are in school this year.
Alexee is in the 3rd grade making us proud as always.
Braiden is in Kindy, he is finding his way and loving school.
Carter is in two day preschool, that is not going quite as well, he is struggling being away from his mama, so needless to say I have spent a lot of time in his class helping him adjust.

Time is flying by and we are just trying to embrace every minute of it.

Love Bugs

My friend got some ladybugs for the kids to release in the backyard.
I had no idea you could even do such a thing, it will surely be an event we remember every spring from here on out though because they loved it.
Alexee and Carter couldn't get enough of the little guys crawling all over them, Braiden....not so much.
He liked watching them fly away, he said they felt "funny" when they were on him.
They were telling us all kinds of ladybug facts I didn't even know they knew during the release!

The Boy Who Stole My Heart

I haven't done pictures of my sweet little boy for awhile.
He wasn't feeling up to it until I informed him if he let me take his picture I would do his chores for that day. Ha, bribery will get you everywhere.
It was so so worth it because I love how they all turned out.
He starts out being all serious, but as you can see that doesn't last long with this one.

My sweet little boy, I can't believe he's already 5......
he is my most sensitive
he is my l.o.u.d.es.t.
he is often in a silly mood
he hates mornings, he wakes up grumpy most of the time
he is really starting to enjoy school
he tells me one of the girls in his class is his girlfriend
he has the best eyelashes....e.v.e.r.

his puppy "duke"
swimming
making us laugh
the color blue
driving fast in daddy's sand car
riding his bike

To the boy who stole my heart I love to the moon and back.

{Week 52} ~ Dun...Dun...Dundun!!

Is it really true?
The year is over?
My project is complete?
Wow..... I barely made it!!
It as a wonderful year indeed spent with my most favorite people!
I am one lucky girl!!!

{Week 49} ~ My Sick Boy

He was so sick on Christmas Eve.
This boy little guy, when he gets sick it is so hard on him.
I was so sad that he wasn't enjoying the festivities :(
He did however find some energy to decorate Santa's cookies :)

I love them!
I am soooo lucky to get to be their mama!

{Week 45}~ Silly

Brad & I went to a charity where we had to wear wigs for Cancer Fund Raising.
I think the kids found them.
I think they rock them way better than we did!!

{Week 42}~Melt my heart

Every time I see this picture it melts me.
His sweet little face with the water droplets on it, I couldn't love this kid anymore!

{Week 38}~ Belly Laughing

His belly laugh makes me belly laugh.
That's all there is to say.
He is just funny.

{Week 34}~ Cooler Than Cool

We were in Utah at a chili cook off & they had games at the next booth!
Little B was over testing his hula hoopin skills & I caught this picture!
I just love how cool he is under that hat!!

{Week 31}~ Silly Boys

I love putting the boys in matching stuff.... I know I know I am one of those Moms:)
They were in these matching shirts up camping & Auntie Crystal thought it would be cute to throw matching hats on :)
Carter would.not.cooperate, big surprise!!

{Week 30}~ Summer Fun

On our way back from our Idaho vacation we stopped at Brad's Aunt & Uncles in Salt Lake for a little break!
The kids had a blast!! They were so awesome the busted out the Slip.N.Slide & my kids had a blast!!!!

{Week 26}~ Underwater Laughter

This picture brings me laughter every time I see it....
He was playing Peek A Boo with my camera underwater.
When I would catch him, he would laugh.
I love the underwater bubbled from my sweet boys laughter.....

{Week 22} ~ Dare Devil

This little boy started the summer off not going in the deep end, down the slide, off the diving board or jumping off the rock waterfall.......boy have things changed.
Thanks to Daddy he is now brave as can be :)
We parent a little different sometimes... Mommy thought we should leave him alone & let him do it on his own, giving him space & time. Well Daddy thought he needed some encouragement & help to get over his fear.
Turns out.....{this is painful to write} Daddy was right!!
After a couple of nights swimming with Daddy's encouragement & praise & our little boy is a fish.

I'm so very proud of you sweet boy for facing & conquering your fears!!
I think my kids are braver than me :)

{Week 19}~ Baby love.....

Well, maybe not "a baby" but he's my baby.
Although if you ask him, he is NOT Carter baby, he is a BIG boy.
So big in fact that today we have started potty training, we've been playing around, but it's time to get serious :)
Especially since he refuses diapers, remember... he's a big boy.
So, here we go, 2 down 1 to go :)
So far so good :)

Oh, sorry back to the picture.
I was playing with my reflector while the boys were bathing, it ended up being a little bath time photo shoot.
After these captures my heart was pretty full.

OuT of the MoUthS of BaBes~TaKe 12

Yesterday at lunch Carter was talking gross, they think it's hilarious to talk about pee pee & poo poo & they've taught the baby, so I always tell them to quit potty talking.

 Well, Braiden looks over at Carter & tells him,
"Quit potty talking at the table Carter."

Carter replies back, "Not potty talking at the table, potty talking at the counter Braiden."

Braiden was totally caught off guard.
Pretty typical for my 2 year old, he is something else :)

{Week 14} ~ B's Silly Sniff

We have all been really, really yucky sick, this is quite possible the worst cold/flu bug I can remember in a long time.
Luckily my little golden child didn't get is as bad as I did.
He did get a little fever, the cough & an annoying stuffy nose.
This is his face when he tries to sniff with a stuffed up nose.....it seriously cracks me up......hopefully it'll make you smile too :)

{Week 10} ~ B's Sweet Smile

WooHoo, I barely made it, after the Loooooong, CrAzY week I'm surprised I actually did.
Week #10, My little Boo's heart melting smile.
I seriously have a hard time telling this one no, but so does my hubby so at least I'm not the only one.
He has just learned at a very young age how to work those big blue eyes & that sweet smile & I melt every.single.time.

{Week 6} ~ Our Little B

I never want to forget this little boys eyelashes.....
Why do the boys always get the lashes?
I know his eyes can quickly melt his mama's heart.
