Another One Bites The Dust.....

Another tooth has been lost.
Not quite as dramatic as the 1st.
She was in the shower last Monday & was wiggling it, well her hand slipped & she bumped it. When she got out it was barely hanging on, so with a little talking she was brave & let her Daddy pull it right out.
Another One Bit the Dust....

Question, this is my baby girl, it does not seem so long ago, where oh where does the time go?
Christmas 4 years ago in Idaho, my little girl. One Christmas she's toddling around eating snow, now she's asking Santa for her 2 front teeth back.

Broken And Another Year Older

All throughout today I have thought I need to sit down at my desk & wish my little sister a Happy Happy Birthday!!
It is her big 3~0!!
I couldn't get a hold of her, so I sent her over a text just so she's know I was thinking about her on her special day.
She replies with, "Today is wonderful, I think I just sprained my other ankle...bad."
Yes, she did, horribly bad, I saw the picture & it put my sprained ankle to shame.
So, long story short it just doesn't feel right wishing her the Happiest Day Ever, because today OBVIOUSLY sucked.
But do know we love you, I am glad you are in your 30's with me, & we will have a do over for your day, because let's face it girlfriend your thunder IS always gettin stolen somehow:)

Here I am

Did you think I ran away????
I am sure all of you can agree that this time of year is INSANE!!! I think we get busier every year. However, that is no excuse to neglect you:) I don't want to be like Stacey & lose all of my lovely readers:) Just kidding Toadie, I still love you!!
So, Christmas came & went. The kids were sooo excited this year! It was so much fun to watch them on Christmas morning!! Carter however could have cared less, he didn't even open 1 gift, the kids had fun opening his though! We got the kids some "kid friendly" games to go with our Wii,unfortunately Brad, Paul & I couldn't give up the remotes to let them play!! That thing is so much fun!!
Then New Years came & went, we spent the holiday @ Dumont with family & friends which was a lot of fun. I won't name any names, but someone stole a Christmas Tree from another camp, OK they got caught stealing it, but the poor guys felt so bad they ended up giving us the tree, so we had a nice big fire to ring the new year in.
Now here it is a week into January & I do not know where the time has gone. I hope you all had a very happy holiday, & I promise not to neglect you anymore.
Oh, my internet was also down for a week or so somewhere in between all the madness, I know that is no excuse, but even if I had time to post I couldn't!!

March In A Nut Shell

Time just flies by way too fast!! Where did March go? Now April is 1/2 over!! We had a very eventful March, I have been meaning to post all the fun things we did, but I never get to it, so I'll just wrap it all up with one quickie!!
At the beginning of the month we took our trailer to the Nascar race!! We went with a big group of people & had a BLAST!! The kids love the races & it was some nice family time!! We all have a racer so it makes it fun for all of us to cheer them on! The kids get way into it!! They like Kahne & Dale Jr because that is who Daddy likes!! I'm a loner all on my own with Bobby Labonte, as you can see he is even persuading Carter to be a Kahne fan :) Everyone likes to watch the race from on top of the trailers, which scares the CRAP out of me but of course the kids love it!! It was a weekend full of racin & playin!!
Braiden on top of the trailer with Daddy, trying to give a thumbs up:)

Carter Bug rootin for Kasey Kahne!!Gettin Carter down for a nap, who put who to sleep here? After this came Easter, which the kids really enjoyed!! Alexee asked her Daddy to please not shoot the Easter Bunny, he said he wouldn't & she said what if you shoot a bunny & you don't know it's the Easter Bunny, he explained that the Easter Bunny is big like us so he'll know if it's her. What do ya say about NOT SHOOTING BUNNIES AT ALL!!!!! They hunted eggs here & at my Mom's, they can't wait for Easter next year!!

Braiden's Cheese face!! Alexee with Bed Head!!

At the end of the month we took Alexee & Braiden to the Monster Trucks, Carter Bug was just a little too small so he had some quality Grammie time!! They couldn't wait to go to the show, it's all they talked about!! We got there early & Tail Gated & went & saw all the BIG TRUCKS!! They got to race on little Minnie Trucks & then they sat in a Rock Crawler!! A girl climbs competitions with this INSANE jeep, Alexee has decided she wants to do this when she is bigger, you go girl!!
Alexee cruisin in the Rock Crawler
Braiden racin his own Monster Truck!
So there you have a little portion of our crazy busy lives !!

Luck Luck Lucky!!!

Well, today is St. Patty's Day, so I thought the perfect post would be to tell you how truly lucky I am. I know all the time people say to ALWAYS be thankful for all you have, and lately this has really hit home for me. My favorite line out of the movie Transformers (you know you're a mom when you have seen transformers 8+ times), anyways, it is when Iron Hide, the weapons specialist says, "are ya feelin lucky, punk?" he learned how to say this from "The World Wide Web" Too funny!! But the answer to his question is yes, I do feel lucky!!

I feel so very lucky to have been raised with such a wonderful family!
I feel so lucky that our family is still so close, my mom & sisters truly are my best friends!
So so lucky to have met such a wonderful man!!
Even luckier that he wanted to marry me :)
I am so very very lucky to have the experience to be a Mommy!! There is truly nothing better than being a mommy to my sweet little kids!! I need to always remember EVERYDAY what a special gift it is that I get to be there Mommy!

I am so so lucky to have such a sweet little girl in my life!!
She is such an amazing little person!! She has grown out of the toddler stage & is becoming such a perfect "big" girl!! She really is an incredible big sister!! She is so smart!! I love it when I pick her up from school & she sings all of the new fun songs she learned that day, I love to hear her sing!! She is sooo silly and so much fun!! Sometimes she gets me to laugh so hard it hurts!!
I am so lucky to have my Alexee Lynn!!

I am so lucky to have this little handsome snuggler in my life!!

Braiden has really become the little comedian of the family! He is always sooo happy & full of life!! He talks a mile a minute, and is getting so smart! Of course his favorite word is why????? with a raspy little voice that I love!! He love loves loves TRACTORS, sometimes we just drive around to find him tractors!! He is such a little Snuggle Bug, he pulls me in so close, I love it!! He is so much fun, he is such a good boy, he really has a sweet side! I am addicted to those blue eyes, I can't resist them, if I am telling him No, I can't look at him because those eyes make me give in!! He is soooo much fun!!!

I am so lucky to have my Braiden Paul!!

I am so lucky to have such a fun little smiley baby in my life!!

Carter has to be the sweetest little baby ever!!! He is such a GOOD baby!!! I love every minute with him! I am enjoying this little baby soooo much! He laughs all the time! His laugh is so addicting!! He makes our whole house laugh & smile more!! He loves his Daddy, his little face lights up when he sees him!! He laughs at his silly brother & sister! The little sweetie never even cries!! If all this weren't enough, he now even sleeps through the night!! I am so addicted to this little baby!!

I am so lucky to have my Carter Bradley!!How about you, what do you feel lucky about?

The Good, The Bad & The WORSE

Wow, so now that I have missed an ENTIRE month of blogging, I have some serious updating to do!! I think we should start with the good first :)
The Holidays were wonderful, all Brad's family came here for Thanksgiving, and the my husband took A WEEK off for Christmas, that is right a WEEK OFF! I swore we weren't going anywhere, but with a week off how can you stay home, so we packed up the kids, the dog, more on that later, and headed to snow country!! We went to Boise to see Jared, Crystal & the kids, it was great getting to spend a whole week with them, the 4 kids play so good together & they had so much fun!! They got to go to a science museum, sledding & off course hunting with their Daddy!! Now that the Holiday's are over we are trying to get back in the swing of things!!
The kids playin in the snow!!

After we got home the kids got to do another Christmas with Grandma Terry, Jesse, Aunt Becca & their uncles, they are loving all this attention!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!! WE LOVE YOU!
On another good note, we decided we weren't busy enough with the 3 kids, so we went & got a dog!! What was I thinking, right? She is actually a really cute puppy, we named her Hurley, so now we have Roxy & Hurley! For my sanity she goes to work with Brad to get trained! The kids have a love/hate relationship with her. I think Braiden is the most into her, but as she grows up & mellows out they will all love her, she has, for the most part :) been a good dog!! She likes the kids chair :)

THE BAD
Our little Braiden just can't get over this winter funk so we took him to the doctor AGAIN to find his lungs are a little screwed up, so after many tests & 13 hours in the Sunrise Children's Emergency Room we finally learned he has RSV. Sucks, he had to be admitted & have a gazillion breathing treatments & some oxygen, he was only breathing at 85% on his own. Well, we finally got released & were on the road to recovery, but I found out there is something worse than 1 kid with RSV, what 's that you ask? That would be 3 kids with RSV.

THE WORSE
On Sunday Carter & Alexee both started acting sick, so off to the doctor we went on Monday, to learn that they all 3 had the funk!! Alexee is already over it & fine, poor Braiden is fighting it with all he's got, our sick little Carter unfortunately is getting sicker. He went back to the Doctor today, & was put on an oral steroid to help kick the funk, hopefully he will recover soon.

AND EVEN WORSE
So, in the middle of this post Carter started coughing, Mommy went to get him & BLAAA He just puked all over me, so I guess we shall cut the post short & go shower :)
On another good note, our kids are like Brad, they are so damn tough you would never know how sick they are!! They have been so brave through all of this, I am excited to get them all healthy so we can go outside! :)
Oh in case you were wondering, I go to the Doctor so much we are like buds, I even have his home number, pretty sad huh?

Pumpkin Carving

So, back on October 20th we all carved our pumpkins!! It started out all fun & games until we started a contest & then it got serious :) The kids were all into it at first, and then of course they got bored, so Bradley & I had to finish the pumpkins, which turned into a pumpkin carving contest! Alexee was weirded out by the guts & wouldn't touch the inside of the pumpkin, imagine that! Braiden on the other hand didn't care to get in there and get his hands dirty! After we were finished carving they decided they wanted to get back into it & carve some more, so we flipped the pumpkins around & let them paint a face on the other side. I think they had more fun painting than they did carving!
So, back to the contest, I think Bradley won, but we won't tell him that :) His is the 1st pumpkin, which was a bat, mine is next, which was supposed to be a witch, then there is Lex's & Braiden's.
It was fun a lot of fun this year with the kids! Every year seems to get funner with the holiday's as they get more into it!! I can't wait for Christmas this year, they are both going to be so much fun!

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!

Well, now I am really getting behind because I have yet to post about Braiden's Birthday!
Sweet Little Braiden turned 2 on October 29! Carter was only 4 days old, so we just did a little party with the family! I think he had a great day though! We made cho cho cake, that is how he says Chocolate :) Daddy got him cars decorations for his cake, which he loved!! He really liked when we sang Happy Birthday to him, he was just smiling so big, like is this all for me :) Here he is when we were singing to him :)
He of course got spoiled by everyone, thank you to all of you!! He loves the GIANT ball Lesley & Stacey got for him! They remind me of our little hamsters in a hamster ball! Hopefully they won't melt in it, Lesley fried her hamster Joe in one :) Sorry Sissy!Uncle Paul also loves the ball :)

It has been such an amazing year watching Braiden learn and grow!! He is so smart! He has started talking out of no where, he puts sentences together and you better be listening because he doesn't stop until you acknowledge him! His latest conversation is he tells everyone his daddy has a girlfriend & she is a "Hottie"! He loves his big sister so much, he is always grabbing her hand saying "Sissy, play" I am so amazed at how good he is with Carter! He is so gentle & sweet, he doesn't like when the baby cries, if Carter cries Braiden usually cries, and says "Mommy, Baby Crying!!" He has such an imagination, sometimes we just sit and watch him! His latest is he acts like there is something in his hands, he puts it on the table & does all kinds of imaginary things, then Sissy comes over & pretends to take it, which really makes him mad! He can be such a Momma's boy, I love it, he comes up & raises his arms, "Mom, snuggle me", he is all mine till Daddy gets home, then it is all about Daddy! We just love our sweet little boy, I am so excited to see him learn & grow throughout the next year!
Happy Birthday Braiden Paul! We love you!!
