All About My Bug

Carter finally got his very 1st tooth:)
It 1st came down on January 5, but it has finally broke all the way through & he officially has his 1st tooth!!
I don't know if it is his big boy hair cut, his new tooth or his talking that has made him turn into such a big boy. I feel like he went from my baby to a little boy overnight. It is kinda sad.
If you look closely you can see the new little tooth in there, he is my 1st to cut a top tooth! It looks pretty silly!! The other 3 are right behind this one! He is so proud of his little tooth, he will put your finger in his mouth & bite it, making sure you know about his new goods!!
He also does this new face, he sticks his bottom jaw out, I think he is grinding the top one & the bottom one coming through, it is too funny. He looks like a little Bull Dog:)

He does have 1 baby thing left, he still LOVES his little thumb! I can not take it away because it is the only thing that he has left that makes him still "My Baby" plus, lets be honest here, how the hell do you take away a thumb???? My Doctor said it was time to start "talking" about taking it away. I asked him how you do that, he tells me to put socks on his hands.
A~that would last about 2 seconds
B~he is still a baby
&C~why would I want to take it away, it soothes & comforts him

Conclusion~he will suck his thumb till Mama & him are ready to give it up:) Plus, he looks so cute doing it!!
Lastly, he LOVES this little toy! Santa brought it for him, it is called the Fropper
He has so much fun on it! You can ride it, but the seat also bounces up & down.
By far I think this is his most favorite toy:)

This little girl is too funny sometimes :)
Before I can get to the story, you need a little background info :)
Carter seems to have developed some sort of an issue with milk, his Doctor suspected he may have Lactose issues a few months ago, so we have been giving him Lactose Free milk. Well, he has started with this funky rash around his mouth & eyes & we realized we had given him regular milk, so now I think the rash is milk related. So we keep our little buggie away from the real deal milk. He has his own milk, until we get it all figured out.
So, last night at dinner Bradley had a glass of "regular" milk, Carter saw it & wanted some. Bradley, always forgetting, goes to give him a drink of his milk. So I remind him Carter can't have his milk & run into the kitchen to get some of "his" milk. Alexee looks over & tells her Daddy that Carter wants a drink of his milk, so she grabs his glass & goes to give him some. So, I tell her he can't have Daddy's milk, remember he is allergic. Instead of setting it down she keeps moving the milk over to his high chair.
So, I again remind her TO PUT THE MILK DOWN, CARTER CAN'T HAVE IT, HE IS ALLERGIC.
She responds, "I know Mommy I want to see him sneeze."
She thought if she set the milk in front of him he would sneeze, because after all he is ALLERGIC to it!!

"Me" Nonsense

A little bit of "me" nonsense.
I am addicted to Coffeemates Peppermint Coffee Creamer! Yum Yum!
I stock up every year, because they only have it for the holiday's so I buy a ton of them, like all the store has to offer :)
I used my last of it today, I am sad :(
I am oh so excited that tomorrow I get to meet my bestest friends baby boy!!!!!!!!!
I also have to go to the dentist & have my teeth cleaned tomorrow, not so fun.
Then I have to have my braces put back on Friday.
For those of you that know me, you know I sported those things for like 6+ years.
So that really really sucks, but I want straight teeth, so that's the price I'll pay.
Lastly that little boy Carter Bug is so much fun.
He really really knows how to make us all laugh.

Photo Opportunity

I can not believe how much my sweet sweet baby is changing. He is approaching 15 months & it kinda makes my heart a little sad. It is so bitter sweet as I have said before because his little personality is so amazing, & everyday with him seems to get funner. He was a sick little boy the last couple of weeks, a nasty chest cold, the flu 2 x, & last the little guy got hit with a double ear infection. I know right???
The upside here is he was so so snugly, normally he does not stop for much, but those sick days you could either find him snuggled with Mama, Daddy,even G-ma got some snuggles.
The downside of course was seeing him so so sick, him not being able to eat or sleep well, just purely miserable. I forgot what a bright shiny personality this baby has. Now that he is on the mend he is bursting with laughter, words, fun & smiles.
His vocabulary has exploded, well not if you compare it to the little Mocking Bird Haylee, but from not saying much to talkin & a talkin is huge for this little boy,

He says outside all day everyday. Mommy doesn't listen so he takes matters in to his own hands & opens the door & flies out it. We have to keep every door locked at. all. times.
Thank heavens the pool has a gate.
So, point of my post, yesterday he brings me his shoes & says OUTSIIIDDDDDE maybe 15x, until Mommy got it. We went out front to play, perfect photo opp right?
So as I was chasing the kids, threatening, bribing, growling, jumping up & down taking 100's of shots he started catching on.
Mommy would yell, "Hey Carter"
Carter would turn around, silly cheesy faced & yell, "Cheese"
Good boy Carter, that is more than I ever get from Braiden.
Here is him running down the street, stopping only to wave, smile & yell "Cheese"
I even got 2 pictures of the kids, all 3 looking. WoW!!!

The 2nd picture of the 3 kids had a horrible ugly desert background so I had to play around with it, I like that they are all looking, I wish it had better scenery. That is what you get for living in Pahrump I guess.

We were at the store yesterday & there were 2 Firefighters in the line next to us. Alexee & Braiden were completely infatuated with them. They kept looking over & talking to each other about the Firefighter's. Well, they finally got everyone's attention, & one of the guys started talking to them about the sirens & lights & how cool it was to be a firefighter. Braiden couldn't stop talking to them. So they asked him if he wanted to be a firefighter when he got big. Braiden responds, as loud as ever, "Yep me do & me can cause me already have hair on me legs." The little boy made 1/2 the store laugh!!
He is at the age where everything that comes out of his mouth makes us laugh. I think I surely have a little class clown on my hands. He loves to make people laugh, & has learned he can weasel his way out of trouble by making us laugh.
He is also in love with Indiana Jones, explains the hat & whip you see here. I had to post both pictures because I liked it bright, but I also like the other one. Which do you think?

I am sure all of you can agree that this time of year is INSANE!!! I think we get busier every year. However, that is no excuse to neglect you:) I don't want to be like Stacey & lose all of my lovely readers:) Just kidding Toadie, I still love you!!
So, Christmas came & went. The kids were sooo excited this year! It was so much fun to watch them on Christmas morning!! Carter however could have cared less, he didn't even open 1 gift, the kids had fun opening his though! We got the kids some "kid friendly" games to go with our Wii,unfortunately Brad, Paul & I couldn't give up the remotes to let them play!! That thing is so much fun!!
Then New Years came & went, we spent the holiday @ Dumont with family & friends which was a lot of fun. I won't name any names, but someone stole a Christmas Tree from another camp, OK they got caught stealing it, but the poor guys felt so bad they ended up giving us the tree, so we had a nice big fire to ring the new year in.
Now here it is a week into January & I do not know where the time has gone. I hope you all had a very happy holiday, & I promise not to neglect you anymore.
Oh, my internet was also down for a week or so somewhere in between all the madness, I know that is no excuse, but even if I had time to post I couldn't!!
