Sweet Sister

I know I have told you all a million times what a good big sister Alexee is, but sometimes it amazes me at how good she is to her 2 little brothers. We ran some errands the other day, & my little Carter Bug has grown out of the "sleep anywhere" stage, we missed his afternoon nap, so needless to say when we got home later he was SOOOOO tired he was a BEAR!! I was walking & Sshiiing & bouncing trying to calm him down. He was just WAY to grumpy!! My little Ms Alexee came & asked what was wrong & I told her Carter was just way to tired, so she says, "Mom, I think I can get him to sleep." This is one of those moments when I want to say NO, it is going to be way harder on Me to involve her help, but my Husband always reminds me that one day it will pay off when they are big & I have taken the time to teach them now! Plus it was pretty sweet that she wanted to help soothe our baby. So I put Carter in her lap, and like MAGIC he quit crying. So I thought to myself, you have a couple minutes to run around & pick up while she keeps him happy, so that is just what I did I ran around picking up, but SURPRISE when I came back into the room this is what I found, Little Carter sound asleep in her arms!!!

She was even tickling his face like I do trying to get him to sleep, how sweet is that!! He even stayed asleep!! She slid out from underneath him & there he slept!! I am so thankful to have such a wonderful little helper!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Kids make everything so much more fun!!! Every Holiday is even more amazing with them!! They loved Valentines Day! We got them each a little Valentine's surprise, and then Alexee had her school party!! She was so excited, Braiden wanted to stay so the teacher gave him a cookie sucker to cheer him up, he couldn't stop talking about his COOKIE that was a SUCKER, that's funny!!! That's what he says :) That's Funny!!!

So, Brad has started trying to get healthier by working out & eating healthy, I decided I need to jump on this bandwagon so he isn't the only one all healthy around here! And I really wanted to do it for the kids! So we have all been trying to eat better, but as everyone knows my kids seem to get sick A LOT. They hate vitamins, Alexee says they taste too sour. So recently my Mom introduced us to a new vitamin drink, Monavie. We love it!! It tastes good, not to mention it's giving us all kinds of fruit & veggie servings! ! I started giving it to the kids & they love it!! I walked in the kitchen this morning to find them both on stools & Alexee is drinking her , "Juice" which is Monavie. Then she pours Braiden some & tells him he has to drink it too so he can get "Big & Strong" I love it!! She is such a good big Sissie making sure he doesn't miss out!! Thank you Mom, a vitamin I can get my kids to take :) Sorry about the CRAP pictures again I can't find my other camera, where is Lesley & the Mamarazzi when you need her :)

A BIG BIG BIG Thank you to my sister Lesley, she made the cute new page for me, but more importantly she took the oh so cute Valentine's pictures!! We met & did some family shots & some of Carter's 3 months, yes he is already 3 months!! Anyways for anyone that wants to see her photography blog it is up & running, so go take a peek! Get off your Rump!!

I am in a state of shock right now. My little Alexee is going to start Kindergarten this year!! I can not believe almost 5 years has almost came and gone with her! I had to enroll her in school the other day, I was really procrastinating doing this, because I am just not ready, that sounds funny but it is true. So the other day I was talking to her preschool teacher about keeping her in this school she is in & she informed me there was only 4 spots left in the class. So I had to quit pouting, get off my rump & enroll my little girl in her class. I am excited to see all she will learn @ school , I do love all her cute little songs & papers & watching her learning to sign & write :) I am amazed at how much she has learned in this 2 day program, when she goes 5 days a week she is probably going to pass me up in the knowledge department! I better start refreshing myself on some school :) I am just sad that I have to take her to school & leave her 5 days a week, I will miss her. It sounds crazy but I will. She is soooo much fun to spend time with! She is really growing up, we can sit & have "Real" conversations & like she likes to call it "girl time"! I love my girl time with that little girl, especially since she will probably be my 1 & only girl :) I know Dara I'll quit pouting about that too :) Well, long story short Alexee is growing up WAY TO FAST!! She is such & amazing daughter & sister. Carter & Braiden are so very lucky! It is rare to find a 4 year old that will put her little brothers needs before her own, but she does it everyday!! She is such a big help to me & her Daddy! She always runs to Carter when he is crying & tells him, "It's okay Sissy's here" I love love love that little/big girl!
Sorry the picture is sooo blurry, I dropped Brad's camera, & broke the automatic stuff, so now we have to do it all manual, I'm just NO good at that stuff, that is Lesley's department!! I guess I better remember to use the one that isn't broke!!
