red.white.blue
When I dropped Alexee off at school today, I looked around & there were some kids from other classes that had on red, white & blue, they are very strict about uniforms, so I had to stop for a minute to think about why they weren't wearing their uniforms. Then I looked over & saw the flag flying 1/2 down & it hit me. It is 9.11 What a sad sad day. I remember every minute of this day 7 years ago, it seemed so unreal & so very very wrong. It is hard to believe it was 7 years ago. My heart aches for all the families that lost loved ones on this day. I am so thankful for the people that fight for our freedom every single day.

Very sad day indeed. I have stopped quite a few times today remembering this sad sad day.

ReplyDeleteIt's still so awful to think about. Too many families were touched and hurt and are still missing the ones they lost. It's just too sad.
