I have A LOT of updating to do, so I decided I better start with the best one and that is our newest little addition Carter Bradley is here! After a very long DRAMATIC pregnancy he has ended up being the easiest little baby! His labor was pretty easy, really fast, every minute of the pregnancy and labor was more than worth it! He is SUCH A GOOD BABY!! The details:We were induced Wed. the 24th at 10:00pm, and Carter was born at exactly 5:00am on the 25th! He was a pretty big boy,
8 lbs 4oz
20 1/2 inches long
For the record I guessed his weight exactly to the ounce :)
I am so in love with this little boy!! He is like an angel, we have to wake him up to feed him most of the time, crazy! He sleeps anywhere from 3-6 hours at night! Are you kidding me, my other 2 don't do that yet! He is the most precious little boy, he never even cries!! The few times he has we just look at each other, like, oh he does know how to cry:)
Alexee and Braiden couldn't wait to meet their baby brother, they came to the hospital right after he was born, Alexee came running right over to hold him, Braiden didn't quite know what to think!!
He is a week old now and they have both done so good with him! She is my little mother hen, she really helps me with him, and loves to take care of him!
Braiden shares his blankie and toys with him, I was a little nervous because he is our rough tough boy, but he has been so gentle and sweet!! 
Of course Brad ate him up the minute he was born and is trying to steal him and have another Daddy's kid!!I am still in a state of shock I think, it's like Carter was always meant to be a part of this family! I don't remember who said this to me, but it is so true, someone said it's like your heart just splits into 3! My heart is so full of love I think it may burst!!
They are so sweet in that picture together on the bed. You are so very blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful family. Carter is gorgeous! I agree, Carter was meant to be in your family. I can't wait to see you guys this weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you got a good baby. You so deserve it after the last 9 months. He is such a lucky little boy to have you as a mother. I look up to you and your patience and the kind of mother you are to your kids. I love them all like they were my own.

Ahh...Kristie what a nice thing to say. Yes, all us sissies refer to Kristy as Supermom...she just does and rarely complains. I agree she sooooo deserves a good baby.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you finally posted something! He is so adorable. I love the pics..keep them coming. Carter has such a good big sissie and broder (as Lexee says). BTW-I was the one at the hospital that asked about your heart splitting. And to think you were scared. I knew you had it in you! I never understood the DEPTH of love a parent has for a child..and I cannot even fathom loving another as much as I love, love, love Marlee...I know I could, of course. It is just unimaginable to me at this point.

Congratulations little Milton Family!!, or should I say getting a bit bigger family. Well you passed us right up with the number 3. And pops says you girls were underachievers. I have to laugh at that one this year. Carter is so beautiful and sweet, we just love him :)
