It is so hard to believe that Alexee is ready to start preschool! She had her 1st day of school yesterday, she did such a good job leaving us! I thought we would have some issues but she walked right in, sat down & looked over & said "OK, bye Mommy" I think I had more issues with my little girls 1st day of school than she did! It took everything I had not to cry!! When I picked he
r up the teacher said she cried a little, but once she got busy she was fine. Tonight I asked her if she is excited for school tomorrow & she said, "ya, but I just want you to stay there with me" when I told her school was just for teachers & students & mommies can't stay, she informed me that I could just stay & hide! Too cute. So I hope everything goes okay tomorrow. She is going 2 days a week, just for 3 hours, I'm hoping to get her prepared to leave everyday for Kindergarten, because she can be quite the little home body, so hopefully this will get her excited about school :) Maybe it will prepare me too, I don't know what I'm going to do when she is gone 5 days a w
eek, they grow up WAY to fast!! I think Braiden is going to have the hardest time with it, the whole time she was gone he kept asking for his Sissy, I kept telling him she was at school & then he'd say, "Me, school" how cute. He was so excited when we went to pick her up! Sweet little kids, I can't believe we have another one on the way! It's going to be a little CRAZY around here!

I caNNot believe how BIG Alexee is! The little outfit is adorable...and she is absolutely beautiful. Before I was a Mama I would have not understood the whole Mom crying thing...now I totally get it. Marlee Moo is only 2 months old and I get it!
ReplyDeleteI love her school girl outfit...so cute! That is so cute that Braiden misses her so much. When Carter is born he is going to latch on to him since sissy will be in school. I hear you about them growing too fast...I'm so sad my little babies are already toddlers. =( When they start school I will bawl my eyes out.

ReplyDeleteSooo Pretty In Pink she is...This day is one of those many firsts our children experience and it's funny how they are more emotional for us then they are for them! I remember the tears after dropping off Ethan. It's so neat that you are documenting these experiences and sharing them with us. We love you Alexee, have fun at school!!!
