Big Brother

Braiden is by far my most sensitive, Mama's Boy, cry when he gets hurt, love for animals, sweet natured little boy.
He is just sweet sweet sweet.
Well, the other night at the park we met the protective, bully side of Braiden.
Friday night we took the kids to the park for a picnic. Alexee came over being all emotional, she finally opened up & told us 1 of the boys on the Big Toy was laughing at her because she is only 5 years old.
So Mommy responds & I tell her to just ignore the meanie, who cares what that dumb little boy thinks.
Daddy responds with, go kick him in the shins.

Braiden gets down off the picnic table, climbs up on the Big Toy & SHOUTS over to the BIG 7 year old boy that he better not say mean things at his Sissy. Finger a pointin at him & all.
Reminder, he is 3.
BIG 7 year old boy jumps off the toy & takes off running.
My little Braiden jumps off the toy chasing him, SHOUTING how he better be nice to his sissy.
Big 7 year old jumps the fence, looking back scared RUNNING from my little 3 year old.

Brad & I nearly fell off of the picnic table belly laughing.
He then comes over & asks us why that boy hopped the fence running away????
I was so proud of him for defending his sissy, yet so surprised at this side of him, I didn't know it existed.
He is a little like his Mama, happy & easygoing until you hit a button then.........................
LOOK OUT :)

This is my baby??

I have said it before & I will say it again, it is just going by way to fast.
We can't keep him off this thing, I take him for rides & he hits my hands off the handlebars because he wants to do it all by himself.
Really?????

Sweet Smooches

My sweet little baby blew his 1st smooch today.

I think he was just so happy to have his favorite Sissy home with him, so he had to blow her a kiss!!

This little one really knows how to melt my heart.
He is just so.so.so.happy.&sweet..

Why, because Braiden is so silly I have to share is Braidenisms!!!

This little boy never stops with the funnies.
I have a calender on my desk to jot down the day to day stuff so I can always remember it & it is full of Braiden & his comedy.
Today,
Braiden~"Mommy, does the sun move?"
Mommy~1/2 paying attention, "Yep bud it moves."
Mommy~Realizing what he asked, "Well, actually the sun doesn't move, the earth is moving around the sun, so it just seems like the sun is moving."
Braiden~"No Mommy, the sun does move, Jesus has a key to the sun & him moves it like a truck."
Mommy~"Really, he does?"
Braiden~"Yep Mommy him does & me knowed this because me sawed it on T.V. toofore. (His word for Before) But Mommy Jesus is kind of Silly because him doesn't wear no pants & no underwear."
Mommy~"Really, how do you know all this."
Braiden~"Well, him just made us, he put our nails on & everything."
Mommy~Laughing hysterically, "You are so smart."

As if that weren't enough laughter for one day, later he is walking & he points down to his leg,
Braiden~"Mommy, this is my right leg."
Mommy~"Very good."

Pointing at the other leg,
Braiden~"& this is my wrong leg."

So today marks the 100th post of my blog :)
Wowzers, I kinda stink at this, I have had my blog for 2 years in August, I think, & I am just now at 100. I better kick it up a notch!!!
For post 100 you will get some crazy thoughts of mine.
Why is it that kids are so against pictures??????
I swear I can take a hundred or more pictures, & I get this~

then there are times when you get an okay one, you just really wish THEY WOULD give you that SWEET Smile you KNOW is hiding in there somewhere~

I guess I also got to practice editing, so it wasn't a total waste!!!
So, tomorrow is my very 1st photo shoot!!!
I am so excited & nervous to shoot pictures for Johnny & Danielle's engagement!!!
They are such a fun, silly, pretty couple who could ask for more for their 1st shoot, right?!!!
Lastly, I don't know if I ever mentioned it here, but I had my braces put on 1/22, I had to go back the other day & my teeth hurt!! I forgot how they hurt after you get them tightened!! Ouch!

Sissy

The other day Alexee said, "Mom, I am almost 6 huh?"
I told her of course not, you just turned 5.
Then I thought about it, & she is right she is closer to 6 than she is 5.
She will be 6 in like 4 months.
Where does the time go??????
She is such a sweet sweet girl. I could not ask for a better helper with the 2 boys. I try not to put to much responsibility on her because she is the oldest, but I don't even have to ask her, she just always jumps in to help out. She is always keeping an eye on her Carter Bug, & lately she takes Braiden & goes & plays "school" with him. They count & do the alphabet & she has even taught him some states. He knows where his Grandma Terry lives & can point out Arizona, the same with His Jonas in Idaho, & of course she taught him where we live. It is so sweet. She talks to them in such a sweet, mothering voice. It is going by so fast, she was just my baby & now here she is helping take care of her brothers. Carter is addicted to her, he wakes up & starts saying "sissy" so she comes running in his room & he gets so excited to see her. I love how they love each other.
She is trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up, she told me 1 day she wants to be "a mommy" & I know she will be 1 great little mama :)
