Geared Up & Ready To Roll

Santa brought Alexee a 4 Wheeler for Christmas a couple of years ago. She was never really to into riding it, a couple times around the back yard & she was good for months. Well, Braiden was introduced to Mr 4 Wheeler & he is in love. He wants to ride his 4 wheeler everyday, numerous times. It is a pretty safe little "feller" (Braiden's name for everything) it has a control where we can turn it down to hardly a crawl speed, & an automatic kill switch. We put their bicycle gear on & we also run along side them, but lately they actually want to go 4 wheelin, up hills & such, all by themselves. EEEEK! This "Freaks" Mom out, (words out of Alexee's mouth) so Saturday we headed to the Motorcross store to get all the gear one would ever need for some 4 wheelin. Now, Mom doesn't need to "freak" out anymore, (Alexee also told her Daddy this at the store:)) My heart skips numerous beats, & I don't always remember to breath normally when I see my babies on this thing, but they love it. Brad & I are a great combination of safety & let them live a little, so we are being safe while we let them experience motorized vehicles. I do feel much better with the gear on, but it still makes me so so nervous. Especially my little Braiden, he is too little to be out 4 wheelin. But I must admit, they look pretty darn cute in their get up's, & they are getting pretty good at riding.

Hard Head

Little Miss Soccer girl has had a BUSY soccer month. She has practice once a week & games 1-2 times a week. She LOVES playing soccer!  She practices outside everyday, she is a natural! Her teams name is the "Purple Pinkies" which was the name she came up with, so she is thrilled:) They had a game last night & she scored a goal & blocked the other team from scoring! She also collided right into another little girl from the other team. Alexee didn't get a bump, but the other girl had quite a goose egg, what a "hard headed" girl we have, in every since I guess:) She is so cute when she gets the ball or scores, she says "Yes" & runs off the field to High Five here Daddy!
The boys love to go watch her play, Braiden because there is a park next door, Carter because he learned to clap & Loves all the clapping & cheering at game time.
He also like to drive us home:)

One of "Those" Days

Do you ever have one of those days? A day where everything you do all day just doesn't seem to matter? Most days I just wake up & "do" I'm a Mom & that is that, we do from sun up till sun down. But then there are those days, the kind that everything you do you wonder why, everyday same thing, same result.
You wash, fold, & put away the laundry, it gets worn & put back in the hamper.
You make the beds, just for them to sleep in them & made again.
You pick up all the toys, they just get them back out.
You make dinner, just to destroy the kitchen.
So, you wash the dishes, just to unload & put them away later.
You put on makeup, just to wash it off later.
You do your hair, just for it to be spit up in or pulled out by the kids.
You sweep the floors, just for them to track stuff all over them.
You mop the floors so they can spill stuff on them.
You get my point, the list goes on & on.
We do do do do & do, just to wake up & do again.
The life of a mother.
It's a good thing they are so cute.

red.white.blue

When I dropped Alexee off at school today, I looked around & there were some kids from other classes that had on red, white & blue, they are very strict about uniforms, so I had to stop for a minute to think about why they weren't wearing their uniforms. Then I looked over & saw the flag flying 1/2 down & it hit me. It is 9.11 What a sad sad day. I remember every minute of this day 7 years ago, it seemed so unreal & so very very wrong. It is hard to believe it was 7 years ago. My heart aches for all the families that lost loved ones on this day. I am so thankful for the people that fight for our freedom every single day.
We Will Never Forget.

HoT DaTeS & HanDmAde InVitaTioNs

They really keep me laughing....
Tonight's laugh...
The kids were being extra quiet in my room, anyone with a toddler knows that usually means TROUBLE. I asked what they were up to, & Braiden responds with,
"Um, we are going on a date."
Mommy ~ "Oh, that sounds like fun, can I come?"
Braiden ~"Nope, you too big."
Then Alexee comes out & I ask her,
"So, you're going on a date."
"Nope, we are going to a party, here is your invitation."
And she hands me these, 1 for me 1 for Carter.
They really play so good together, I am so thankful for that. I really believe they are Best Friends, even when her friends are around she AlWaYs looks out for & includes her brother.
I'm in love with my kiddos:)

Had to add....Thank you, thank you to my wonderful sister Lesley for the actions! I am In Love with the Espresso:)

Grandma's Day!!

Happy Happy Birthday to the Most Wonderful Mom in the entire world!!!

Mom, I hope you have a great day! You deserve it! I will never know how you managed to raise 6 of us, which I think you deserve a Pat on the Back for, because you did a damn fine job:). You always made it look EASY, I never had a clue until I became a mother myself at the sacrifices you made. You sacrificed everything for us. You are quite possibly the most selfless person I have ever met:) I always remember you going without for us, but the best part is you would hide the fact that you were going without because you didn't want us to feel bad. You are an amazing Mother, I am Happy you are my Role Model & I strive to bet he Mother you are.
We are so very lucky......
Happy Birthday to the Best Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Sister, Niece & Friend anyone could ever ask for!

Grandma Jan with all 3 Grandbabies right when they were born!

Me Friend

Of course my little boy Braiden  Boo would be the 1st child I have to have an imaginary friend.
We were camping last weekend & he was sitting at the trailer table eating gummies, well he kept setting gummies in front of the spot next to him. Then he started talking to the empty spot next to him. When I asked what he was doing he said "I'm just sharing with me friend, Jason."
So matter of fact.
Then later he was talking to the air again. so I asked who he was talking to & he said "Mom, it's me friend Jason. Him is right there" & once again pointed to the spot next to him.
Silly boy. He has such an imagination this little boy & the things he comes up with crack us up. So, we have our 1st imaginary friend, & him's name is Jason.

Actually That Is Totally My Silly Boy

Braiden has added 2 new words to his vocabulary..........
Actually & Totally
He picked them up all on his own. He puts these new words into just about every sentence he can think of.
Some funny ones..........
"Actually, that was me that just bit Carter's finger!"
"Mom, I totally have to pee."
"Mom, actually I can wear my cowboy boots with shorts, that's okay."
Things are never dull with this little boy around!!
