Birthday Girl!!

Happy Happy Happy Day to the Birthday Girl!! I just wanted to wish my sister Ange a Happy Birthday, she is the best sister, friend & auntie any girl could ask for!! 

Thanks for everything! Like helping keep me sane, & Always listening & Never judging & for being my children's Nanny:) The list could go on & on......

Amazing Sweetness

Carter Bradley is 10 months old today.......

10 months old, I can not believe how fast the time seems to be going by with my baby boy. I have never wished for it to slow down like I am with him, but it seems to be moving even faster than the other 2. Maybe because the 3 of them keep me so busy that the time just flies by.  I need it to slow down. In a month I will be putting everything together for his 1st birthday, crazy. At 1 he will not be my "baby" anymore. No more babies, I don't think I can ever prepare myself for that.

Well, on to the sweeter side of the post, our Carter Bug.

He is the most amazingly sweet little baby boy, he is so full of sweet sweet happiness. I can not ever remember any of my kids being so happy. He is the funnest little boy. He learned how to wrinkle up his little nose & breath in & out of it. He does this all the time.

He is still incredibly addicted to his thumb. He loves his thumb. He is an amazing sleeper, so I can't hate the thumb. The thumb helps him sleep, when I think of it that way, I love the thumb:) He sleeps from 7-7, WoW! I have never had a sleeper like this, he loves his nap time too.

He is so addicted to his Daddy, he repeats his name all day, & when Brad walks in the room he kicks & squeals with excitement! 

He loves to play with his Braiden & Lex, they are still so good with him. 

He gets in to everything, & is pulling up on to furniture. He wants to be a walker so I don't know how long I can hold that off:)  I think he watches the bigger 2 & just wants to be a part of it all.  

He is finding a little temper inside though, he is learning all about what he does & does not want, & he lets you know it:) Especially during meal time, he wants to take the spoon & do it all by himself, this has been fun. We have switched to a lot of finger friendly food so he can do it. 

He loves to eat:) He is experiencing a lot of new food lately. 

At 9 months Doc pretty much said feed him everything, except for the obvious No No's. He likes everything as long as it isn't cold, he turns his nose up to yogurt, he loves applesauce, unless it comes out of the fridge of course, silly boy.

Carter is always smiley. He laughs & smiles all day long. He is so loved by us all. The kids are starting to tell me they miss him when he is napping! We just love every minute with our sweet little baby.  

Carter Bug, you are such a sweet, special, fun, happy, little baby boy. I am so glad I get to be your Mommy. I love you to pieces.

Today Braiden was spinning around around in Carter's room. He stopped & looked down & said, "mommy, the floor is spinning." 

I had to laugh. "No Braiden the floor isn't spinning you are spinning."

"No Mommy, look the floor is spinning too."

He tried to stand up & fell over with dizziness. The little boy was so dizzy he couldn't figure out why he had the spinnies.

Then later today, he got mad at me for getting mad at him for putting body wash in the toilet, ewwww, then trying to get the body wash out of the toilet, even more ewwwww. 

So, apparently I am a "maniac" for making him wash his toilet infested hands.

Soccer Girl

Alexee had her 1st soccer practice last Wednesday! She could not wait to start soccer! She has been waiting to be big enough for soccer for years now. So we went & got all her soccer gear, she can be such a Tom Boy, but yet such a girly girl. She was most unhappy about her soccer outfit. We had to get it from the Boy's section, & so she was worried everyone would know she was dressed like a boy. Silly Girl. Thank goodness Kristie had recently posted Shelby in her soccer gear or we would have had 

A. Major. Meltdown. 

Most of you know what those are like:)

Thankfully, after seeing Sheby in the same attire she was ready to gear up in all the boy stuff & head to the park. My little girl is a little like me, she may have got Daddy's looks, but unfortunately she inherited my "grace", or lack of it I should say! However, we may have found her thing because she did awesome!! She was so coordinated out there "dribbling" her ball, maybe she did get some of Daddy's skills after all:)  I can't wait for her 1st game when they are all running back & forth kicking it in the wrong goals!! 

Things sure went from mellow summertime, to busy, busy way to fast. I already feel like a chauffeur & I am only carting 1 around right now.

So, Alexee's 1st day of school has already came & went. I did better than I anticipated:) I was very brave!! She did great! She didn't want to get out of bed & get going, she is like here Mama, we like to sleep in! But once she woke up she was excited & ready to go! Daddy was able to come home & ride to school with us, so I think that made it all the better for her! She wanted to be extra brave for her Daddy! When we got to her class she got a little teary eyed, but after Daddy went & talked to her she was fine. When I picked her up her teacher said she was the best listener in the class that day!! Good Job Princess, we are so proud of you!!!

School Time

In the morning I will be taking my little girl to Kindergarten, KINDERGARTEN! I can not believe she is starting school tomorrow. She is so excited, me, not so much. It is just really going way to fast. I need it to slow down. I am so not ready to be taking her to her 1st day of big girl school, I may shed a few tears :) It's time to stop making this about Kristy though, (I like to do that) this is about My Big Girl Alexee, who is 5 and ready to go to school. WoW!

Uh Oh! We hAvE A Thumb SUcKer!!!

My Little Carter Bug loves to suck his thumb! He is addicted to it, I have never had a thumb sucker before, you can take away a paci, a thumb, nope, so how do I break the addiction? My doctor says to start trying now, but I feel like he is so little, he can have it for a little while longer, or am I creating a monster????? When it is time, what do I do, I can't exactly take it away, he suggested putting socks or something over his hands, ya right, he would rip them right off!? I encourage the paci, he will take it at 1st, but once he loses it he goes right for the thumb! Oh No!! BAby #3 has StuMpeD HiS MaMa!

MoHaWk MaN

Braiden can not decide how he wants to wear his hair, if Daddy buzzes his, he wants his buzzed. If Daddy has his spiked he wants his spiked. Well, now little boy blue wants his Mohawked. You remember "his Jonas" well he looooves his cousin Jonas, he calls him, "me Jonas", and Braiden's Jonas loves Mohawks so there you have it, now Braiden wants to be Mohawk Man. It is a weak version of a mohawk, especially if you compare it to Jonas' but he is just growing it out of a Buzz like Daddy's.

Another angel has been called home to heaven......

A life cut way too short, Alex Ray was just 21 years old. He was so young, so much life he will never get a chance to experience, such a tragedy that will never be understood. Words cannot express how sad we all are for our loss.

There are so many things to say to describe our "Baby Alex", that is what G-ma Bea calls him even though he is WAY past the Baby stage. He is named after his Grandpa Alex, who he has now reunited with in Heaven.

Alex always brought laughter to everyone around him! He was so silly and fun. Every time you saw him he wore a smile, when he walked into a room he could light it up with his happiness. He was the oldest of many many great grandchildren and he had such a special role in our family. Everyone loved and adored him, you just couldn't help but love him! Looking back through pictures and reminiscing of him I can only think of good times. He loved to tease Grandma Bea and he would get her good. He used to try to get her to dance with him and she would laugh and laugh. He was just so happy. I am so sad to even have to write this post, but I want Alex to be remembered for what he was, a great son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Alex, you were soooo loved and I am so sorry you are gone. I know you are happy and at peace now, but we will sure be at a loss without you here with us. You will be missed by so many. We love you Alex Ray. You will never be forgotten......

A Quikie

Well, there has been no time to post, but I feel like I have left everyone totally hanging, so yes, the answer is I. fell. in. love!! My Mac is beautiful. It was love at first sight! I haven't got to play on it much, because like I said things have been crazy, my sister in law is in town, & between the 2 of us we have 5 kids 5 & under,can we say CraZy!! But I am loving my Mac & Canon every chance I get. I can't figure out how to post pictures, what good is a post with no pictures? I will post this for now & figure out how to get the stinkin pictures up soon:) For now this is what you get:)
