So here we go. This post has been hard for me to write, it is a lot harder for me to write about ME than somebody else, but I finally did it!!

~1 I love, love, love babies. Those of you that know me, know this. I COULD not wait to be a Mommy, I knew from the time I was little I wanted to have a lot of little ones! I love the smell of babies, the sound of babies, there is nothing like a baby in our home!!

~2 Growing up as a kid I was REALLY mean, no it is true. I wasn't so much mean to my family, I was mean to kids at school. From about 5th grade until 7th grade I was just MEAN!! I made up a mean song we would sing on the bus about one of the other girls, everyone on the bus would sing it. Well, a couple of years later her Dad told me she used to make herself SICK so she didn't have to go to school because we were so mean to her. I remember my best friend growing up, Kennyle would say, 'Why are you so mean?"

~3 I am VERY, VERY gullible, I mean if someone says it, I believe it. My lovely brother in law loves to test this often, he has gotten me to sniff sour cream & butter, asking if it was bad & then sticking my nose in it, you'd think I'd learn, right!! Sometimes it gets me in trouble because I believe everyone, and in this day that can be bad!! I once had a man tell me he could win me a lot of money betting on a horse race, I worked on the strip, so like an IDIOT I gave this man $300, that was all the savings I had because he told me he could double it. He gave me some fake ticket took the money, & of course I never saw him again!! DUH!

~4 I have experienced a great loss in my life. I look back now & I can see how much I have learned in going through this terrible trial. I am so much stronger now, & I think it makes me cherish more of the small things in life, because you really don't know how long you may have with someone. I owe so much to the support of my family, they helped me get through it. Now after meeting Brad & having our 3 beautiful children, I have a happiness I never thought I would find.

~5 I don't think I know what my NATURAL hair color is. I have been dying my hair since about the 10th grade, & I only know what it looks like when it creeps it's ugly roots out at me. Alexee wants me to die my hair red, like hers. I've had red hair before, not my best color. Hell, I've had every color imaginable on my hair!!

~6 I am a SCARDEY cat!! A big old scared baby. I am 30 years old & I still get scared of the silliest things. I hate to stay alone, well truth be told I DON'T stay alone. I am a wimp this is true. I think my 4 year old is braver than me!

~7 I really, really, really want another baby girl!! I am selfish I know, but I do. I just look back & I rushed everything with Alexee. I didn't enjoy enough with her. I guess I just always thought I would have another girl one day, but here I am & I don't know that I will! Don't get me wrong I LOVE my boys, and really they are easier, I don't know what it is I just really want another baby girl. Maybe part for Alexee, because I can't imagine life without my sisters.

So, I can only tag Amber, because Ange tagged everyone else I know, that is pretty sad:)
Maybe I will Retag, Stacey, Kristie & Dara since they are slacking, I don't know if there is such a thing, but girls get on it!!

SLOOOOWW Down Baby Carter!!

Well, as every moment goes by my baby keeps getting BIGGER, and nothing I do is slowing this down! It has to slow down!! I know most mothers feel this way, I used to laugh at Ange with Marlee & how sad she would get at each stage, I guess I always knew I would have another baby to go through every stage AGAIN with, so I didn't quite get it, sorry Ange, now I get it. I am really trying to prepare myself that Carter may be the last baby, I don't know how well I've convinced myself or any of you, but I am trying. So, based on all of this I am really trying to enjoy every moment, & I have, he is such a little huney, how couldn't I. He is the sweetest little thing. So, to the point of the post. My Doctor said to wait until about 6 months before we introduce real food to him, he said with his SIZE it may not happen, but try to get him to hold off until 5 months. He gave us some signs to look for to say that he is ready & not to wait any longer, well he's started showing signs that he is ready, so yesterday Bradley couldn't wait any longer. My little baby started solid foods :( It is just one more move to the not a baby anymore stage!! You ask how the 1st time went, & really it went exceptionally well. I have never waited this long & usually it takes weeks for them to get it, not Baby Carter. HE ate 1/2 of a stage 1 food, WOW! Alexee picked out the menu, she decided on Sweet Potatoes, Brad did all the work feeding him, I recorded & snapped 50+ pictures, while Carter sat back & grubbed!!

We were all sitting around watching his every bite, I think he was a little overwhelmed!!

Cermit The Carter

So, my sister Stacey has always been known as our little "Toad Head" She was born with blonde, blonde hair so everyone called her "Toe Head", well my silly Mom thought they were saying "Toad Head"so the name has just always stuck!! Everytime I see something with a frog or toad on it I want to buy it for her. Now, Miss Haylee's room is in Toad's so everything I see reminds me of the both of them!! Kristie bought this towel for Braiden years ago, & I had to do it, I had to turn my Carter into Cermit!!

This one is for you Toadie :)

I must say he is about the cutest little Cermity Carter I have ever seen!! I guess we just make cute little munchkins that look like Toads!!

Pitter Patter

Time goes by way too fast!!
My children, who for the most part still DO NOT sleep through the night, who used to be locked up in a crib so they had to yell for me when they woke, but not anymore, those days are long gone!! I do still have my little Carter Bug for that :) Miss Alexee figured it out a long time ago, wake up, run down the hall, climb into Mommy & Daddy's bed & snuggle right in. Well, Braiden would always yell for me, however he must have been watching his Sissy one night, because lately I can hear him wake, then I hear his little footsteps running down my hall, he is also all boy so instead of sneaking right in, he slams into the door like it's a punching bag & then yells "MOMMY"! Sometimes I just lay there and listen to their little footsteps running down the hall for me, I have always loved listening to this noise, even though it means they are awake & out of bed AGAIN, the noise is like sweet music, I just lay there & listen. The other day a friend of mine said I should record that noise so I can always hear it. So, of course I'm thinking, but I get to hear it every night, silly me, one day they will grow up & they won't need their mama to soothe them back to sleep, so away will go the pitter patter of their little tootsie's running down the hall to me. That makes me sad! So hug your little ones & keep them close, because these days are going to be over before we know it! I am going to get out my video camera & get the Pitter Patter on tape, so that I will never forget that sweet little sound!!

Luck Luck Lucky!!!

Well, today is St. Patty's Day, so I thought the perfect post would be to tell you how truly lucky I am. I know all the time people say to ALWAYS be thankful for all you have, and lately this has really hit home for me. My favorite line out of the movie Transformers (you know you're a mom when you have seen transformers 8+ times), anyways, it is when Iron Hide, the weapons specialist says, "are ya feelin lucky, punk?" he learned how to say this from "The World Wide Web" Too funny!! But the answer to his question is yes, I do feel lucky!!

I feel so very lucky to have been raised with such a wonderful family!
I feel so lucky that our family is still so close, my mom & sisters truly are my best friends!
So so lucky to have met such a wonderful man!!
Even luckier that he wanted to marry me :)
I am so very very lucky to have the experience to be a Mommy!! There is truly nothing better than being a mommy to my sweet little kids!! I need to always remember EVERYDAY what a special gift it is that I get to be there Mommy!

I am so so lucky to have such a sweet little girl in my life!!

She is such an amazing little person!! She has grown out of the toddler stage & is becoming such a perfect "big" girl!! She really is an incredible big sister!! She is so smart!! I love it when I pick her up from school & she sings all of the new fun songs she learned that day, I love to hear her sing!! She is sooo silly and so much fun!! Sometimes she gets me to laugh so hard it hurts!!

I am so lucky to have this little handsome snuggler in my life!!

Braiden has really become the little comedian of the family! He is always sooo happy & full of life!! He talks a mile a minute, and is getting so smart! Of course his favorite word is why????? with a raspy little voice that I love!! He love loves loves TRACTORS, sometimes we just drive around to find him tractors!! He is such a little Snuggle Bug, he pulls me in so close, I love it!! He is so much fun, he is such a good boy, he really has a sweet side! I am addicted to those blue eyes, I can't resist them, if I am telling him No, I can't look at him because those eyes make me give in!! He is soooo much fun!!!

Carter has to be the sweetest little baby ever!!! He is such a GOOD baby!!! I love every minute with him! I am enjoying this little baby soooo much! He laughs all the time! His laugh is so addicting!! He makes our whole house laugh & smile more!! He loves his Daddy, his little face lights up when he sees him!! He laughs at his silly brother & sister! The little sweetie never even cries!! If all this weren't enough, he now even sleeps through the night!! I am so addicted to this little baby!!
