Things that I LOVE

Here we go! Lesley did a "things I love" blog, and now Ang has put us all to the challenge!!

So here you have the things that Kristy LOVES!! In no particular order :)

#3 The smell of sweet baby breath, well for my kids I love the smell of their breath even when I shouldn't :)

#7 My husband's desire to always spend quality time with our kids, he LOVES to take Lex golfing! He is always so willing to take the kids anywhere!!

#11 When I wake up & Brad is home, or when he comes home early!!

Little Comedians

Why is it that kids always say EXACTLY what is on their minds? Lesley did a post on all the funny things Alexee said while she was visiting one day, well I guess Braiden can't be outdone because he is Mr. Silly himself!! At least they haven't said something to some stranger in public, yet! The other night Braiden was asleep in our bed, yea bad habit we are trying to break, well in the middle of the night Brad "Poop Tooted", Alexee's word for it, which is a whole other story:) So, anyways Braiden was sound asleep and all the sudden I hear EWWWW, in the middle of his sleep! We were dying laughing! So Ms. Alexee's latest was the other night in my bathroom when I was getting dressed, she had a MILLION questions about why my underwear go up my bum. So of course I give her the Mommy version of why my underwear look this way, and she says, "Well, Mommy I'm not so proud of you when you wear your underwear up your bum like that". Are you kidding me!! What do you say to that? So Mommy went and found a pair of underwear that cover her whole bum, so now Alexee can be proud of me!!

School Girl

It is so hard to believe that Alexee is ready to start preschool! She had her 1st day of school yesterday, she did such a good job leaving us! I thought we would have some issues but she walked right in, sat down & looked over & said "OK, bye Mommy" I think I had more issues with my little girls 1st day of school than she did! It took everything I had not to cry!! When I picked her up the teacher said she cried a little, but once she got busy she was fine. Tonight I asked her if she is excited for school tomorrow & she said, "ya, but I just want you to stay there with me" when I told her school was just for teachers & students & mommies can't stay, she informed me that I could just stay & hide! Too cute. So I hope everything goes okay tomorrow. She is going 2 days a week, just for 3 hours, I'm hoping to get her prepared to leave everyday for Kindergarten, because she can be quite the little home body, so hopefully this will get her excited about school :) Maybe it will prepare me too, I don't know what I'm going to do when she is gone 5 days a week, they grow up WAY to fast!! I think Braiden is going to have the hardest time with it, the whole time she was gone he kept asking for his Sissy, I kept telling him she was at school & then he'd say, "Me, school" how cute. He was so excited when we went to pick her up! Sweet little kids, I can't believe we have another one on the way! It's going to be a little CRAZY around here!

Little Ballerina

Little Alexee started her 2nd year of dance yesterday!! She was soooo excited, she loves to dance. Last year she got to do tap, ballet & tumbling in Vegas, this year we are doing it in Pahrump, and they do it a little different, so she got to choose 1 class and she chose ballet! This suprised us a little because we all know Alexee can be "just a little" clumsy at times, and ballerina's are known for their grace :) But she suprised us all, because she looks so grac

eful out there spinning around like a true ballerina! All that really matters is that she is having fun, she LOVES to dance, and maybe she can meet some new friends.

Little Mr. Braiden is so addicted to her he was trying to sneak in the

room to dance with Sissy the whole time we were there!! He kept yelling "Dance, Dance" and running over to the door! Finally he gave up & started entertaining the waiting room break dancing on the floor for us all! So now we have 2 dancers on our hands, although I don't think Daddy will let Braiden do ballet, I'm sure he'll be our little football player :)

The Sweet Side

Our little Braiden is 100% BOY!! He always so rough & tough! He likes to get into everything & break things and wrestle, he even talks with a rougher deeper voice! He loves cars & trucks & balls, just everthing boy. The only thing he does 1/2 girly is scream, the little boy screams like a girl. Brad of course blames this on me & Alexee, so now Brad is teaching him how to scream tough, he has this little "errrrrr" Brad taught him that he does now instead of the high pitched squeal. I never knew how different a girl and boy could be. As much as he is all boy he has this sweet side to him, when he wants to of course. We have been working with him for a couple weeks now on how to say " I love you" at first we would get back a "Ya", but lately he has been saying the "you" part. We say "I love" and then he yells "YOU"!! That was pretty sweet, but for the 1st time last night the little sweet said "I LOVE YOU" We were at dinner & I kept saying it & all the sudden we, okay Ange, realized he was saying "I love you". It was pretty sweet.

Here is an oldie, but goodie picture of Alexee, she used to love to give kisses to herself inthe mirror, and she always had a phone, if you asked who she was talking to, it was always "my boyfriend" She is such a sweetie, I can't believe she is getting so big. She starts preschool next week, she is soooo excited, I might cry though :)
